The Chicago Bulls entered the offseason widely expected to re-sign DeMar DeRozan, but they have not discussed a contract during their exclusive negotiation period and appear to be moving toward a rebuild.

"As I said before, we're gonna look at everything," Arturas Karnisovas said when asked about DeRozan. "Everything is on the table. And you know, it's still an option."

Karnisovas had previously been adamant about re-signing DeRozan in his comments to the media, so the new position represents a change. K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago writes Karnisovas' "answer about DeMar DeRozan's potential unrestricted free agency beginning on Sunday spoke volumes."

The Bulls are also shopping Zach LaVine, while they traded Alex Caruso for Josh Giddey last week. Giddey and DeRozan would be an awkward fit offensively.

At the end of the season, it was reported that the Bulls offered DeRozan a two-year, $80 million extension. DeRozan turned it down with his eye on a longer contract.
