Hawks Trade Cody Zeller To Rockets, Drop Below Luxury Tax

The Houston Rockets have acquired Cody Zeller and their 2028 second round pick from the Atlanta Hawks. The Hawks have needed to create roster spots following their trades with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Los Angeles Clippers. The move also gets the Hawks under the luxury tax.

Zeller has not played this season after being traded to the Hawks as part of their Dejounte Murray trade with the New Orleans Pelicans.
