Antony Davis could play as early as Tuesday when the Dallas Mavericks play at the New York Knicks. Davis has been upgraded to doubtful for Monday's game against the Brooklyn Nets.

Davis has been out since sustaining a left adductor strain on Feb. 8th. Davis participated in five-on-five play twice over the past week with the Texas Legends of the G League. If Davis doesn't play on Tuesday, he could instead play on Thursday at the Orlando Magic.

"Could be any day," one source said.

The Mavericks have also been without Dereck Lively and Daniel Gafford. Davis is considered the closest to a return.
