The Toronto Raptors continue to battle injuries.
Scottie Barnes will not play for the Raptors against the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday, as he’s been ruled out with a hand sprain.
He was listed as questionable on Tuesday before head coach Darko Rajaković confirmed he would not play while speaking to reporters pre-game on Wednesday.
Sportsnet’s Blake Murphy reported Barnes had been battling the injury for the past few games but irritated the issue again in Monday’s win against the Washington Wizards.
Wednesday night marks only the second game Barnes will miss for the team in their last 38 games.
Barnes has averaged 19.6 points, 7.9 rebounds and 6.0 assists this season through 51 games played.
Immanuel Quickley, RJ Barrett, Brandon Ingram, Gradey Dick, Ja’Kobe Walter, Ochai Agbaji, Jonathan Mogbo and Ulrich Chomche will all be missing from Wednesday’s game as well.
The Raptors will enter the game with nine available players.
Meanwhile, ex-Raptor Kyle Lowry, along with Paul George, Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey will all be out for Philadelphia as well.
