Former Toronto Raptor Danny Green is retiring from the NBA, he said in a statement Thursday.

Green, who won an NBA title with the Raptors in 2019, played last season with the Philadelphia 76ers and is a veteran of 15 NBA seasons. He has also played with the Cavaliers, Spurs, Lakers, and Memphis Grizzlies. He was drafted 46th overall by Cleveland in 2009.

The 37-year-old is a three-time NBA champion, having also won titles with San Antonio in 2014 and Los Angeles in 2020, making him one of just four NBA players to have won three titles with three different teams. The others are Robert Horry, John Salley, and LeBron James.

Green played two games for the Philadelphia 76ers last season before he was waived.

The Raptors acquired Green from the Spurs as part of the famous Kawhi Leonard trade in 2018.
