Draymond Green On Return To Warriors: 'We Are Not Going To Continue To Hold On To The Past'

Draymond Green looked forward to the future as he returned to the Golden State Warriors on Thursday after being away from the team for a week. Green was fined but not suspended for punching Jordan Poole in practice last Wednesday. "We had the conversations about what we need to do moving forward, and we're going to do that. We are not going to continue to hold on to the past," said Green about the incident. Green will play in the Warriors' final preseason game against the Nuggets, and be available for opening night against the Lakers. Green added that his relationship with Poole remained "professional." "Jordan is a professional, and I am a professional. We have a job to do ... we're going to do just that. [As far as a personal relationship], I'm not sure. That's not up to me, nor do I think there is much relevance. We're paid to do a job and we are going to do that job to the best of our abilities," said Green.
