Kyrie Irving’s injury status vs. Cavs

Kyrie Irving is questionable for their game against the Cavs, and his status is up in the air. If Irving is able to play, he’ll be going up against the team that drafted him, and he won a championship with them in 2016. The Cavs have become one of the best teams in the league this season, and the Mavericks are going to need all hands on deck if they want to win.

Irving will now have the backcourt to himself with Luka Doncic being traded, which is probably one of the biggest deals in NBA history. Both Doncic and Irving proved that they could be a dominant one-two punch, and it helped them get to the NBA Finals last season against the Boston Celtics.

This year for the Lakers, Davis was having a great season, and it was obvious that everything ran through him. It wouldn’t be a surprise if things were the same with the Mavericks and he continued to dominate.
