The WNBA offseason is still underway, but that doesn't mean there haven't been major moves and announcements.
There's Kelsey Mitchell, who has agreed to a one year supermax contract extension with the Indiana Fever.
Entering her eighth consecutive season with the Fever, the two time WNBA All-Star, who averaged 19.2 ppg last season, stated that the culture of the organization from top to bottom made it an easy decision to return.
"Indiana has been my second home since I went pro, the only city I know… To see you guys open your arms to me.. was a big part of me coming back."
Mitchell praised the organization in addition to a nod to Caitlin Clark.
"I met one of the greatest people in the world, Caitlin Clark…I think together we hope to make you guys proud."
With a top ten draft pick for the 2025 season, alongside the return of the dynamic backcourt duo, the Fever are looking to shake things up.
