Markelle Fultz remains a free agent despite being part of the Orlando Magic rotation last season and appearing in all seven of their playoff games against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Fultz, however, remains unsigned because he continues to deal with injury issues.

Leading to the playoffs, Fultz revealed that he still had small fractures in his left knee. Fultz previously tore the ACL in his left knee.

"I was told today that he's dealing with injury stuff and that's what has prevented him from being signed," reported Jake Fischer during his Tuesday evening chat alongside Marc Stein.
In 43 games last season with the Magic, Fultz averaged 7.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 21.2 minutes. Fultz is represented by Raymond Brothers.
