Auburn, Houston Join Duke, Florida In All-No. 1 Seed Final Four

Auburn and Houston joined Duke and Florida in the 2025 Final Four as all four No. 1 seeds have advanced to this stage in the tournament for the first time since 2008 and the second time ever.

Auburn defeated Michigan State 70-64 despite playing part of the second half without SEC player of the year Johni Broome.

When Broome left Sunday's game, the Tigers led by 10. When he returned near the five-minute mark, the Tigers still led by 10.

"They're my brothers," Broome said. "They've got my back no matter what. I went to the locker room. There was no drop-off."

Houston had a more comfortable time in their 69-50 win over Tennessee.

"We play in a tough conference," Kelvin Sampson said. "I think going 19-1 in the Big 12, 10-0 on the road, prepared us for this. The Purdue game was kind of like a road game. Tennessee game was kind of like a road game, too, with their fans, but our kids are kind of calloused to that and so kudos to them."
