In one of the marquee games of the week, Baylor basketball is looking to pick up a huge non-conference road win on Wednesday night as it battles with UConn late in the second half. Both teams came into the game shorthanded, with Baylor missing star freshman V.J. Edgecombe and UConn missing star wing Alex Karaban due to injuries.

During the second half, things got even tougher for Scott Drew and the Bears. Star point guard Jeremy Roach, one of the veteran leaders of this group, left the game and will not return. He is in concussion protocol, according to the broadcast on FS1.

Roach had nine points on just 3-for-6 shooting when he left the game. Now, Baylor is trying to battle back without two of its best players.
