The Sacramento Kings and Brooklyn Nets have not held discussions on a Cam Johnson trade for several weeks, sources tell Marc Stein. The Kings do not currently see a pathway to consummating a Johnson trade with the Nets.

The Kings have been engaged with other teams on separate trade ideas.

Brooklyn has continued to maintain a high asking price on Johnson, who is signed for 25-26 at $20.5 million and for 26-27 at $22.5 million. Brooklyn is seeking as many as two first round picks for Johnson.
