The announcement guru has agreed to become the general manager of the men's basketball program at his alma mater.

Woj Bomb!

Yesterday, Adrian Wojnarowski dropped his last big announcement for ESPN, his retirement announcement.

Wojnarowski shared that he got his first byline thirty-seven years ago. He has worked at ESPN since 2017. Woj previously worked at Yahoo Sports and The Record of Bergen County, among others.

"I am retiring from a dream job at ESPN and am so incredibly grateful for my time and experiences with the Worldwide Leader," he said.

All day long, messages of best wishes, respect, and goodwill poured over social media.

The longtime sportswriter is heading back to his alma mater, St. Bonaventure, where he will serve as the general manager of the men's basketball program.
