Hear the new track by Anthony Rosser
A new Spurs-themed song has been release by local musician Anthony Rosser.
The song starts with a Mariachi riff that opens into a beat with a chorus singing the familiar "go" refrain. Rosser raps dropping the names of the Big 3 and eventually mentioning the update of CP3 joining the squad. He effortlessly rhymes Prada with Wembanyama before returning to the chorus adding "it's the Spurs coming."
At just two-and-a-half minutes, the song is designed to fit perfectly into time outs at the Frost Bank Center.
Rosser, a San Antonio based rapper Anthony Rosser, worked with Demond Reed, a Grammy nominated American artist, producer, musician, and songwriter.
Rosser and Reed, in collaboration with beat-makers "Great Scott" Harrison and K-Diamond Beats, created "Go!" an homage to the longstanding Spurs "Go Spurs Go" tagline.
Rosser is not only a music artist. He has a history with the Spurs as he created a painting in 2022 for Devin Vassell.
With the Spurs preseason underway and the kick off to the 2024-2025 campaign just around the corner, a track with a killer beat celebrating the Silver & Black is just what fans needed.
