With an estimated 35.5 wins, the Spurs are poised to be the most improved team in the league, but they could shatter the most conservative expectations

The San Antonio Spurs made some interesting changes this summer, which has the team looking far better than they did when last they took the court. With the team's cornerstone set with Victor Wembanyama, adjustments were necessary to give their generational talent the best chance to dominate more than just the stat sheet. While the Spurs only won 22 games last season, Wemby put up All-Star numbers.

theScore posted this video breakdown entitled "WembyMania Is About To Run WILD In Year2"

In 30 minutes of play, Victor Wembanyama averaged roughly 21 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 blocks, and 1 steal, "borderline superstar numbers."

The video called attention to the fact that when Wemby and Tre Jones shared the floor, San Antonio had net rating +4.3, but the team tallied a -15.7 when the point guard was anyone else — Malaki Branham, Blake Wesley, Devonte' Graham, or Jeremy Sochan. The addition of Chris Paul and Harrison Barnes will only make things easier for Wemby.

Can the Spurs improve enough in one season to make it into the Play-In by April? Watch the video and see what you think.
