The San Antonio Spurs have held discussions with the Atlanta Hawks about moving up for the No. 1 pick, according to Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer.

The expectation would be that the Spurs would then draft Zaccharie Risacher.

There were reports earlier this month that the Spurs are looking to compete next season, with the team open to trading any player besides Victor Wembanyama or Devin Vassell.

It was also reported earlier on Friday that the Hawks "really like" Donovan Clingan.
