Thunder recall Ousmane Dieng, Lindy Waters III from G League's OKC Blue

The Oklahoma City Thunder announced on Friday that they have recalled Ousmane Dieng and Lindy Waters III from the G League’s OKC Blue.

This comes a day after they helped the Blue tie the 2024 G League Finals at one apiece against the Maine Celtics. The decisive Game 3 will be held on Monday, April 15 in Maine.

Dieng has spent most of the season with the G League. The 20-year-old has been outside of OKC’s rotation all season as he continues to develop in his second year.

Meanwhile, Waters III has gone back and forth between the Thunder and Blue this season. In his third season, the 26-year-old was converted from a two-way deal to a standard contract. He’s been a nice depth piece for OKC in his tenure as a sharpshooter.

The Thunder’s regular season is coming to a close. They only have two games left before the playoffs, with their regular-season finale being held on Sunday, April 14 against the Dallas Mavericks.
