Previously with the Warriors:
Golden State rebounded strongly from a tough loss to Cleveland with a solid 127-116 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday night. A scorching 42-point third quarter—where the Warriors doubled the Thunder's score—had them cruising with a 107-79 lead entering the fourth. But despite the 28-point cushion, Oklahoma City fought back, forcing Golden State's starters to return and finish the job. That's when the reigning Clutch Player of the Year, Stephen Curry, came through with two critical threes in the final minutes, putting the Thunder to bed and sealing the win.

What to watch for tonight:
Contrary to what some may say, it's impossible to believe that Tuesday night's matchup is "just another regular season game in November." Warriors legend Klay Thompson makes his return to the Chase Center floor in a game that's bound to be filled with emotions from players, coaches, and fans everywhere.

Aside from Thompson, Dallas boasts a dynamic backcourt duo in Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving—who are averaging 28.3 and 25.6 points per game, respectively—and have propelled the Mavericks to a top 10 offensive rating in the league.
The Warriors will have to rely on their fourth-ranked defense to counter the Mavs' offensive firepower. Head coach Steve Kerr noted that De'Anthony Melton will continue to start for them, setting a strong defensive tone for Golden State alongside Andrew Wiggins, Draymond Green, and Trayce Jackson-Davis.
And it's safe to say, Green is especially looking forward to setting a strong tone for Tuesday's game.
