Following their five-game road trip, the Golden State Warriors return to the Bay Area to host the Detroit Pistons. The game will be played at 5:30 PM PT in San Francisco and can be watched on NBC Sports Bay Area.
Previously with the Warriors:
Golden State ended their East Coast road trip with a 4-1 record after defeating the Brooklyn Nets, 121-119. The Warriors trailed by as much as 22 points in the first quarter of this one, however, thanks to a spirited effort led by Stephen Curry—who converted an incredible fade away three from the logo before halftime—they were able to trim the lead down to five points.

Curry took things to the next level in the second half, finishing the night with a game-high 40 points which included seven-made threes. Jimmy Butler followed right behind him with a 25-point performance on 10-of-10 shooting from the free-throw line and a team-high plus-minus of +17.
Steph Curry looks invigorated lately. It's about his health, the time of the season, their place in the standings and the trade: "All of it."

What to watch for tonight:
Golden State returns home for a seven-game homestand riding an 8-2 record over its last 10 games. During that stretch, the Warriors rank third in the NBA with a 11.4 net rating.
However, their first test at home won't be easy. The Pistons, who are on a similar hot streak, are also 8-2 in their last 10, while ranking just above them at second in net rating (12.9) over that same period. They too are the six seed in their conference with the same record as the Warriors at 35-28. Leading the charge for Detroit is first-time All-Star Cade Cunningham, who's averaging 25.5 points and 9.4 assists per game.
If the Warriors want to win this one, they will need continued dominance from Curry—who's been on a tear since the All-Star break. His play, alongside an aggressive secondary scoring effort from Butler, will be the key to taking down their Eastern Conference counterparts.
