Luka Doncic Expressed To Lakers Desire To Play With Lob Threat Before Mark Williams Trade

Luka Doncic made it known to the Los Angeles Lakers front office that he wanted to play with a lob threat to give him another option on his reads, according to Dave McMenamin of ESPN.
The Lakers acquired Mark Williams on Wednesday night.
The Lakers are confident in Williams' medicals despite the center never having appeared in more than 43 games in his three-year career.
Williams also has a mentor-mentee relationship with JJ Redick from their time at Duke.
