New Dallas Mavericks big man Anthony Davis was injured in his first game with his new team. Despite saying he didn't think the injury was a big deal postgame, Davis will apparently miss several weeks due to an adductor strain.
Davis had missed time while with the Los Angeles Lakers right before being traded to Dallas. He was out during that period with an abdominal strain.
The Mavericks acquired Davis, along with Max Christie and a 2029 first-round pick from the Lakers in exchange for Luka Doncic, Maxi Kleber and Markieff Morris.
