Duke University forward Cooper Flagg set the ACC freshman scoring record with 42 points on Saturday afternoon. Flagg set the record in the Blue Devils win over Notre Dame.

Flagg shot 11-for-14 from the floor, including 4-of-6 on three-pointers. The presumed first overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft also made 16-of-17 free throws, grabbed six rebounds and handed out seven assists.

Flagg has been the projected first overall pick since he re-classified to enroll a year early at Duke. While some teams have taken a liking to Rutger's Dylan Harper, Flagg is still the consensus first pick in mock drafts.
