The longtime Spurs advocate has a few honest moments that may make some fans wince
Here's something to have some fun with:
In this Instagram VIDEO, San Antonio Spurs stalwart Michell Beadle, cohost of Beadle and Decker on SiriusXM's Mad Dog Sports Radio with Cody Decker is asked which big man would she take out of the pair. In each instance, the first choice is Victor Wembanyama.
It is important to note that she was being asked who she would take "right now." For all of Wemby's accomplishments and potential, he is still not considered an overall superstar or MVP.

MB: Right now?
Q: ...right now, or the following players- Wemby or Joel Embiid?
MB: Wemby.
Q: Wemby or Nikola Jokic?
MB: C'mon!
("Use your brain, not you heart" is heard from the side.)
MB: Jokic.
Q: There we go...Wemby or KAT (Karl-Anthony Towns)?
MB: Wemby.

MB: Wemby.

Not bad. She chose the French Phenom over the 2023 MVP (though not the reigning MVP). With the exception of AD, the rest were also younger up-and-coming big men, which illustrates just how good Wemby is already.
Keeping in mind they were not talking about the future of the Spurs, just who she'd rather have on your team.
