'Real Changes' Coming To Suns Roster, Likely Starting With Kevin Durant

There will be "real changes" coming to the Phoenix Suns roster this summer starting with Kevin Durant, according to Shams Charania of ESPN.

"League sources believe that there will be real changes in Phoenix coming to the Suns. From a roster standpoint, that likely starts with Kevin Durant," said Charania.

Durant was said to be "blindsided" to be put in trade conversations at this year's deadline.

"This offseason...what it would look like is that the Suns and Durant would work together on any potential trade to a contender in a trade scenario.

"And I would expect 4-6 contending teams with some serious involvement in Durant," added Charania.

Durant is extension-eligible this offseason.

Brian Windhorst added last month that all parties are "crystal clear" on Durant getting moved this summer.
